"One of the biggest challenges was my own patience since all of the sides fit together but (because I was painting an already-assembled prism) I couldn't work on them all at once without risking smudging something! In turn, this meant I took more time on the prism than I usually would on a project this size, and it was during that extended timeframe that I came up with the idea for the one contrasting panel which sort of inverts the pattern of the rest of the prism."
